Report
Our last game of the season produced probably the best performance out of all eighteen games played in the league.We dominated the first half with goals from Dan B and a specially well worked second from Ore which involved some superb football.It was then extremely important to make it to half-time without conceding a goal which we duly managed.
The second half started and we expected an onslaught from the visitors and it was not long before they obliged.Nerves were then calmed as Tom hit a third and his last of the season.Shelford & Stapleford then pulled one back with a stunning goal which lifted their spirits.It was now important we kept them at bay as another one would put us on the back foot.Towards the end of the game we got a foothold again which saw Tom hit the bar from a free kick and eventually we saw the game out.
