Coaching team confirmed for 2010/2011...

Cambourne Eagles U9s.....

Are proud to announce that Mark will of course be their Manager for the new season ahead. Not that there was any doubt.

Mark will have Tom Gyford and Jonny Allen both aiding him as he looks to try and split the boys into smaller groups for their training.

Mark Said " I am very much looking forward to the new season with the Under 9s, as I am with my Under 15s who play in the Sunday Colts `A` league. Both teams are extremely important to me and have shown a fantastic level of commitment. The parents give me their full backing and support, and I will continue to Coach these players so that they continue to let their football do the talking on a pitch. I wish both my teams the very best of luck in 2010/2011.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
