PROMOTION CLOSE NOW!!!!!

With 2 games of the long and tiring season left, the Eagles Under 16s are in a very strong position for promotion, having won 7 games on the trot the Eagles are placed second in the league, requiring 1 more point to claim Runners-Up at the minimum. With leaders Fulbourn Falcons 6 points ahead of the Eagles, Cambourne would need to win their last 2 games and convincingly (as a result of the Fulbourn Falcons having a better goal difference by 10) and hope Fulbourn lose both of their last games to claim the league title. As we have seen from the last 7 games nothing is impossible, so strong desire and effort could see us as winners, but for now promotion is on our minds, so COME ON EAGLES!

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
