A succesful Charter Standard youth football club formed in the new settlement of Cambourne in Cambridgeshire in 2006. The club was formed to provide the community with a transparent organisation to allow the opportunity for children aged 5 to 17 to play football.
Teams play in the Cambridgeshire youth leagues, namely the Cambridgeshire Mini League and the Cambridgeshire and District Colts League. All teams are encouraged to play fairly with a high level of sportmanship with the aim of treating all opposition with respect.
Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?

No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
